Something completely non astro-but worth watching!

As some of you may know, one of my other hobbies outside of astronomy, is dancing, mainly rock'n'roll and swing. As teachers we spend a lot of time checking what others are doing around the world so Youtube is extremely valuable.

Every now and then you come across a gem of a performance and this is one of the best. The style is boogie woogie, which is a European form combining traditional Lindy Hop with a faster Eastcoast swing style. Anyway I thought I would share.

Thanks for sharing that Malcolm.
I was into those older dance styles for years.

Those dancers are very good I picked a couple of minor hiccups but its so difficult to have a perfect performance when it is that fast.

The best guys and gals just keep on going when little hiccups happen. And in the swing/rock'n'roll/boogie woogie world, it is those little hiccups that actually give the dance it's "flavour". When I am judging at a comp, I actually love seeing couples make a little error and watching how they react to them.

Anyway it still is one of the best performance routines I have seen!!
