Mars 11th 12th May - bad seeing

SPX350 F41.3, PGRFlea3, Baader RGB filters.

Stars would not stop twinkling, they were all flashing on and off like Christmas lights. I should give it a go all the same and 11th was below avg and 12th was nearly avg. I could not make out any features in the preview image - such a disappointment!

I had to use IR to construct an image as red was awful an the 11th. Never had seeing this bad for years.

Regards, John.

Yes John it's the same here up in central qld, jet stream and low level winds causing those twinkles most nights.
