I'm from Brisbane Australia
I have been stressing like crazy the past few weeks that the world is going to end..
I have been reading things and working myself up
I have stopped eating and I can't sleep
I have been to doctors and been put on medication
I am seeing a psychologist..
Please can you help me out!!!
Is the world in fact going to end this year or is what I'm reading just people playing games!?
I have read about Planet X and read it is suppose to end on the 29-30 of this month and it's making me so paranoid..

Of course we've all heard all the conspiracy theories and get a good laugh about this but this is just sad that it's affecting (supposedly) someone's health.

So, shall I feed the monster, or starve it? I got a feeling he's not going to take "there's no Planet X" for an answer.

Well, I sold a ZWO camera to someone who wanted to find Planet X and/or aliens.

Fortunately I didn't hear from them again!

Seize the moment.
Reply that you have the perfect scope for him.
Its a fact no one knows but keeping his own look out is the way to go cause the government are keeping quiet to avoid panic.

Sad and I really feel sorry for him but I bet my suggested responce will make him happy because above all humans need to believe in something, also if he is busy looking thr his new scope he will get tired and sleep which strangely may be just the solution to help him overcome his fears.
Ask for a deposit that will sort out if he is a scammer.

I suppose the easiest thing is to tell him you've prepaid for a scope that won't arrive for 6 months. That will give him confidence that either there's no problem or there's an end you aren't aware of.
