thanks Marc- its a composite shot of two images - it wouldn't fit entirely in the frame.

it was actually there for 20 minutes - i was getting some woodchip down the road and spotted it during the loading - i couldn't get home quick enough

oooohhh was there a rainbow? was it bright? i never have seen one of those, not a decent one anyway

You wouldn't believe it.
We just got home from the Blue Mountains and had the camera in the car.
I looked up and saw this around the moon.
Quickly grabbed the camera and took this 5 sec handheld shot so I wouldn't miss it.

LOL, thanks for the heads up Dave.

Dave check out the Solar system thread can,t believe we had two in a row.You could see slight colouration but nothing like the daytime version.
