A couple of widefields

Hi all, took these pics a while ago just got around to processing them.

First pic is a stack of 2 from August sometime and the second is a single image from last week.

Both with the 5d on the eq5.

Processing is the key to a good image, you could spend thousands on a mount and scope and a few hundred on software, and still have average images wthout the skills when it come to processing, i am still learning just the basics of image processing, and it shows by the number of sub standard images i have on my hard drives

I suppose this is my first full year completed of my astro apprenticeship, got another 3 to go

They are deep images Trevor.

I would think that you would need dark country skies for such deep images. Were these taken from Melbourne?
