VdB 14 and VdB 15

Van den Bergh 14 and 15 are a very faint emission and reflection nebula complex in the constellation of Camelopardalis.

http://www.astropix.com/latest.html

This is 4 hours of exposure shot with a DSLR from a mag 21.5 observing site.

To show how faint they are, there's also a mouse-over comparison between the original image and the post-processed image.

Interesting target and very nice capture/processing.
The original image, is it a single frame or is it already stacked?

Hi Geert,

The "before" image is from the stack. It has a white point set, standard non-linear curve stretch applied, and the foreground sky subtracted.

Stunning blue colors in this target Jerry, nicely reveal in processing and a cool presentation with the mouse-over comparison
