This may help , but it wont be cheap .
Google ' Northland astronomical society' they are in Whangarei NZ , I am a past president and founding member but now live in OZ , but they have a CGE14 and found the CGE mount to be a real pain to get right , I know as I spent hours and weeks trying , it would not hold its settings but thats another story .
We decided to go the Losmandy way and got a sweet Titan mount and tripod for the C14 from Bintel and because the observatory has a massive pier the tripod was stored and to my knowlage it still is , brand new .
Give them a call . Nothing to loose so to speak
