Tonights Moonage through the Windage

Very windy here tonight, but I received my new motorised focusser so I had to have a play anyway!

Here's some moon shots captured with the ToUcam, C8, 2.5x Powermate.

I was going to try a mosaic along the terminator but ran out of time to do any more (moon dived behind a tree). Each of these images is a mosaic of two stacks of about 100 images from 1000 captured.

Captured with K3ccdtools, stacked in Registax. Merged, levels, unsharp masked and saved for the web in PS CS2.

Wind was a shocker here too - so I opted for a night in side. Hopefully better conditions tomorrow.

Thanks Petra. Conditions really weren't up to the magnifications I was using unfortunately, but sometimes you just don't know till you try. So they aren't as sharp as I'd like, but given the conditions I'm happy with them.

I nearly had a go myself last night, Al... but it was so windy here I didn't bother.
