M33 with ED80

Hi All,
Had a go at M33 which has low surface brightness, so tried ISO-1600 using the Canon EOS300D (modded) + the ED80, forgot to do the darks and used some old ones but this seems to have left dark blotches in the Pix. that will teach me to do the right thing and take darks at the same time as the Pix., anyway its not bad and the colour is about right, Im going to try the Skywatcher-102 on this subject (bigger Scope)and see if any brighter Pix. come out of it.

9 x 5 Min. Exp. at ISO-1600, DF removed, guided- LX200/F10 + MX7C.

cheers...............Jim

Jim,

Excellent work on a grand object.

I've been wanting to image this for ages.
