M83

Here is my first crack at M83
Details are:
Scope SWED80
Mount Orion Atlas EQ/AZ G
Camera Canon 760D Unmodded
Guiding Orion SSAG Pro and Orion ST80 with PHD 2
10 x 3 min subs with darks and flats, stacked in Images Plus, processed in PS CC 2016. Stretching, levels and curves applied with a bit of sharpening and some cropping.
Overall I am pretty happy with result, looking to get some more data tonight!!

Big thankyou to John Glossop for his processing tips at the SV camp threes weeks back, helped make the processing a lot easier!!

A good start, Malcolm. More data will allow you to stretch it further.

Cheers,
Rick.

A good start to a nice image Malcolm

Try to get at least another 30 subs and see what difference it makes.

Awesome, Malcolm! M83 was the first galaxy I ever photographed, with similar results to yours. More data will help, but you've already got that figured out. Tracking looks good, nice round stars.
