You're not wrong Alan.

They were created by Stephen Thrum. http://blogs.abc.net.au/queensland/2...hen-thrum.html

The full sized model of Apollo EVA suit was created from the ground up, I believe he researched the correct weaves and measurements to make it as authentic as possible. I can't be sure but I believe most of the other models are not kits, but built as one-of-a-kind.

When I saw the 4th pic, my heart leapt, Alan. I made that model of an Apollo Saturn 5 (about 80-90cm high, from memory) and had it on the mantlepiece for some time till then wifey insisted it go into storage...that was 42 years ago...But I do recall the Brisbane planetarium as the Mt Cootha Botanical Gardens was the only place I could find, being so elevated, etc. Thanks for the nostalgic blast from the past!

Cheers,
Richard
