Wasps vs Apricot Chicken

A piece of apricot chicken fell off the plate last night, and 15 of these guys sorted it out today.

I think I need to save for a macro lens, close ups are fun.
Sigma 24-105 zoom, with Kenko extension tubes.
Canon 6D, 1/180sec, f7, ISO 400.

Thanks for looking.

Excellent set of photos Tim.
Yeah a macro is a good thing to have in the kit, and I use mine nearly every day.
Although, I have a lot of excellent close-ups using a small zoom and 25mm extension tube.
