Red Seas - Vela SNR

Long Time no Post!

This is produced from 33 shots of 5 mins each of a single Ha filter (6nm Astronomik). No other filters used, so I worked some photoshop processes to produce this full RGB version, so this is only my artistic impression. Really loving this area!

Clever Simon and looks pretty good really The structures are intricate and intriguing enough to hold a good look, even without the colour variation and the intensity and hue manipulation makes it interesting.

Nice

Lovely blood red shot, a lot of nice wispy shock fronts to look at

Ooh thanks folks, I was particularly pleased to:

A/ find the bloody target, as if previously had a terrible time doing so. Thanks to TSX and the new mount for that; and
B/ be able to produce a reasonable approximation of an RGB image despite me only having Ha data

The HiRes of this is a delight Simon.
Easy to live with all the blood when the details are so good.
Well done.
