Getting payments from OS into paypal account

Just wondering if anyone here has experience with using Paypal.

A chap in Germany wants to buy something of me and wants to pay via Paypal.I have a paypal account I very rarely use.But not sure what details
I need to give to customer or how it all works.

Any advice greatly appreciated-thanks.

I believe that you can just give them the email account that your Paypal account is tied to. Or within Paypal you can send a payment request to their email.

Give him your Paypal email address. Voila.

Make sure HE pays the Paypal fees - he can do this by either paying using the friends and family option, or by electing to pay the fee. Otherwise, you will lose 1% - 4% (depends on your Paypal account etc).

Then you either keep those funds in Paypal, or withdraw them to your nominated bank account (3 to 4 days to do so).

If the amount is over $1000, Paypal will demand you to verify your identity by providing your Medicare details and Passport details. If you don't give them that, they will ask for other documents to be uploaded. If you do NOT prove your identity, your funds will be frozen until you do so - no withdrawal, no using.
