Another crack at the rosette

Hi all. Massive reprocess from scratch.
Spent an hour or so puppet transforming to get the stars aligned properly.
You be the judge as to whether it was worth the effort.
All processing in PSCS6.
Stacked in DSS
4 panel mosaic, about 4 hours per panel (30 minute subs) with a synthetic green from the Ha and OIII channels.

Full(ish) version here

Any feedback and comments welcome.

Cheers,
Ex DJ Scotty

Nice going Scott, great details in the dark dust pillars etc , , the color looks good for most part with some interesting variable hues in there, most likely from each of the panels at a wild guess; ive never done one ?
Well done on producing a good dynamic image of this target aswell,
Nice Repro

Thanks very much Bob. My first mosaic so a lot to learn for me. But isn't that always the case with this hobby
Have to admit I was pretty happy with the dark dust pillars. As for the colors well there's plenty of clouds about at the moment! Get ready for 100 reprocessed images!

Very good for a first mosaic, Scotty! As Bob said, the detail in the dark, dusty stuff is excellent. The next one should be easy now

Cheers,
Rick.

nice work Scottie - looking good.
just remove that gradient and you'll be sweet, i had a quick crack at it for practice and it can be removed fairly easily with this PS technique https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GW67PwUP8Ww

yep looking better, it is pretty hard to do accurately with such a frame filling object. much easier on galaxies etc.
