Another Jovial evening in Brisbane

Folks,

So many great Jupiter images being posted to appreciate lately

Last Thursday we had a night of decent seeing here in Brisbane and I took my chances...

C11 Edge HD, TV Powermate 2.5x, ASI224MC

Cheers,
Dunk

Thanks Russell!

So far, I'm pretty impressed with the 224. It's decently fast (although my netbook is the bottleneck!) and not too noisy...it makes for a great little guide cam too

That's a great image, excellent colours and good details, Well done. I was recently in Brisbane and wondered how I'd get anything down there I see it can be done.

Cheers, Phil

Great result, always good to get the GRS. Brisbane is a bit windy/cloudy in summer for us without Observatories.

Thanks Phil, John, Graeme!

I figured it would probably be the only chance so close to opposition

Excellent Dunk, I'm really liking how the Red Spot has that nice eyebrow sweeping over it with the distinct gap, looks decidedly Egyptian

That is real nice mate, like Mike said, I like the look of the GRS, it does look like it has an eyebrow.
