Orionids ?

Hi all, decided to try for some Orionids this morning after work

Set the 5d up on the tripod and played around with ISO f/ settings, but the light glow from the city made it useless.

I decided on 20 second exposures at ISO 800-1000, canon 28-105mm, nr off.

I was amazed at how many i saw, at least in the high 20's per hour, with some very bright ones as well, just didn't get those ones on the cmos

Here is a pic of one, i think anyways, its got a nice green tone, still working on the processing to bring it out a little more.

Nicely done Trevor!

I'm going to have a try tomorrow night if the weather permits.

Good catch Trevor, nearly hit the Rosette neb!!
Those bright ones always happen just after the shutter closes and the data is being saved!!!
Cheers Gary
