Sunday, February 14th, 2016 - H-alpha Sun

After awakening to -13 F (-25 C) and a beautiful clear blue sky, I thought I would wait for it to warm up a bit before imaging the Sun. When it got to 1 F (-17 C), I knew it was time. Even though the sky looked pristine, the upper air turbulence was pretty intense. Here are a couple from today's cold session.
