BOOT LOADER Invalid Serial pkg:0080

I set up my gear tonight and on powering up the mount I was presented with the titles message. I had upgraded the firmware some weeks ago and everything has been fine. The data I found from Celestron was invalid as far as holding the BACK and INFO buttons as it still comes up with the Boot loader message. I have tried flashing it using CFM ver 2.0.5200 but the cfm.jar file flashes briefly on the pc and nothing happens. I have the latest Java and even installed Firefox as it says Chrome doesn't support Java.
Anyway, I'm stuck with a dead VX mount. Does anyone know a work around or should I send the hand control back to Andrews Com?

Thanks for any advice.

Regards -Rob

Hi Russell.
Thanks for the link to the Yahoo group. I rang the tech and discussed the issue and will be posting the handset and cable to him. Hopefully, he can re flash the handset and I'll be up and running again. I tried every trick I know and couldn't get past the pc detecting the usb cable, but couldn't find the mount.
When I last updated the firmware it worked like a dream and took very little time to do.

Cheers -Rob
