Moonlite focuser ASCOM Driver Setup

Hi all
I have been trying to set up a MoonLite focuser on windows 10 with no luck. Whenever I try to open the properties dialog box after selecting the focuser the program freezes and sits there looking sweetly at me, I have to kill the 'ASCOM Moonlite server' process to get the program working again. I have tried this on both focusmax and the ASCOM Diagnostics program with the same results, I also did a fresh install of windows with no improvement. Software versions are listed below.

MoonLite DRO 6.2.0 fresh download from web site
Windows 10 Pro Version 1511 OS Build 10586.63
Processor AMD E2-1800
FTDI Driver Version 2.12.10.0
ASCOM Platform 6.2 - 6.2.0.2774

Thanks for any advice and or suggestions

I have my Moonlite focuser working fine under Windows 10. Although I don't seem to have the MoonLite DRO you mention...

How are you connecting the focuser to the machine? Direct to the USB port or via a hub? If it's a hub, is it a powered hub?

Does windows 10 see the focuser as a device?

Hi lazjen thanks for the response, windows only sees the focuser as a com port, the Moonlite DRO mentioned is the ASCOM driver currently available on the moonlite site.

Ok, well I can't think of much really useful to help unfortunately. About the best I can think of is just having ASCOM installed and don't install DRO and see if that works?

Ok I've worked it out I apparently forgot to uninstall the original FTDI driver installed by windows, uninstall that and use the genuine FTDI driver and it works like a charm thanks lazjen (Chris) for your help.
