Melting Moon.

Using the 400 mm prime lens I managed a quick close up of the thin crescent moon which was one day old.

i love how you framed this with the trees, it makes it look like the moon is huge and the trees are relatively close up.

Thanks Morton,Derek and Aidan,Yes Aidian,I had hoped to try and get that effect you mention,by carefully observing location a long time before I took the image,I figured this would hopefully be the result.
