Eta Carina

This is a single 180s exposure taken with my unmodded Canon 5d through my SWED80 on Wednesday night.
Only processing has been via Adobe Raw and PS CC. No Darks, no flats, no bias frames (I took 'em, just haven't used 'em yet!!)

Processed using a few tips from Tony Hallas's Youtube video on DSLR processing.
So far spent about 15mins processing on this.

Cheers

Malcolm

Nah, the 5d is a MkII I bought back in 2012 when the MkIII came ourt so was fairly inexpensive, just over $2k from memory. Lovely camera and has given stirling service ever since.

As a single 180s without any calibration, it's looking fantastic

Thanks Colin. I was rapped to get the Keyhole to jump out. I have been fiddling for a while trying with DSS and other processing and ended up going bugger it, lets see what I can do with just one image!!
