It reminds me of the 50s and 60s style of the old BOAC livery. Neat but not very modern imo. Anyone agree?

Wow, very retro. Expected to see a cigarette ad and a stewardess in a mini skirt.

Nice photo Peter.

Wow, we ran into this one last Monday at Bris on way back from Melbourne, I did a double take as she rolled into domestic gate 4, looks great!

Tell you what, if you have long legs, avoid the new 737, the older crates have 2-3 inches more legroom, but no individual screens on the back of seats.

Yes, did a double-take one evening at Brissie seeing this one parked at the next gate as we pulled in 2 weeks ago. The captain noted for those on the right it was a retro livery. Certain grabs some attention and nostalgia.

Wonder how many they plan to do?

Thanks Bob.....need a long lens for this - sigma 150-500mm and good light F6.3.

I Dont know how many either at this stage - but have you seen the first - Retro Roo (l) ?
I personally think they would both look better with polished aluminium belly - but still think they are pretty cool!
