Skyviewpro Intelliscope Upgrade Decl Setup

Hello fellow members

Today I installed an Intelliscope upgrade to the Orion SkyviewPro mount. With the exception that the R.A. and Dec. magnets were stack together, the installation was straight forwards. The final step in setting up the intelliscope requires that 0 degrees Declination needs to be accurately defined and marked on the mount. I will have a go at this later this evening but I suspect that I may have a few problems. The manual refers to the Northen hemisphere and it is rather frugal with the explanation of the procedure.
I have read all the discussions on the Cloudy Nights forum about it but they relate to northen hemisphere.
I understand what it suppose to achieve and I will try to do it by intuition.
I would like to here from anyone who had any first hand experience with setting the declination to zero.
Please note, that there is now available a GoTo upgrade for the SkyviewPro mount; I just missed out.

Thanks and regards

George
