Rosette Nebula

So the other morning I snapped the Rosette Nebula, I have never photographed this DSO and had been wanting too for sometime now. Even though the sun was rising I managed to get this result. I was able to take out the blue from my exposures so I'm fairly happy with the end result. 2 exposures stacked.

Impressive result for only two subs Steve

It would be nice to have the nebula stand out a bit more.

Yeah that's why I'm looking forward to photographing this area again. The two subs were almost blue they were taken as the sun was rising so the sky wasn't very dark at all so I'm very happy to still get this result. In a couple of months I will go it again when it's higher in the sky later in the night.
