Moon on Oct 18

Oct 18. Noticed the moon (5-6 day old) sitting high in the sky tonight. No good taking DSO so thought I'd try the moon. This single exposure pic was taken thru a 10" LX600 at prime focus with a Canon 550d camera. If you look hard enough you will notice lots of tiny crater (black dots) in this region at this phase. Thanks for viewing.
