I was just wondering if anyone has purchased this special issue from National Geographic? Sounds like it's a decent read, but I haven't had a chance to check it out yet.
I'm also interested in Beyond Our Galaxy, so any thoughts on that would be great too

Thank you for the heads up, this is brilliant. I must post this on our facebook page as I'm sure it'll help many people on there with the learning curve in astronomy.
I expected it would mainly be for N.H. people but there's sure to be stuff we can all enjoy . I hope! So I'm still excited to have a look. And if it's written by Andrew Fazekas (I have a feeling it will be ? as he writes much of the nightsky stuff for Nat Geo) then it should be a great read. So many books are based for N.H., I think we're used to it now aren't we *sigh* .
I finally bought a copy today definitely far from disappointed with the information in it.
I recommend this to any space newbies who are looking for information presented in an easy-to-understand way. The way it is written makes for pleasant reading, too.
