yep he made space weather again.............................. ................................... ................................... ................................... ....................
Mr humble is a prolific Spaceweather contributer. I am greatful for his excellent WORLD CLASS tidbits of stellar information. Thanks for flying the flag BIG D!!!!
Thanks for the heads up Dave; this one was sent in a looooong time ago and I had forgotten all about it. Thanks also for the nice words guys, much appreciated.
I would swap it all; the royalties, the fame, rubbing shoulders with the intelligentsia, world wide adulation, e-mails from Paris, etc. Just for half the votes Rocket Boy gets in the monthly comps, right here, on Ice In Space.
Thank you once more for those nice words. I enjoy these more unusual projects because my gear makes finding the stuff and recording the results reasonably straight forward. GoTo and a sensitive, auto-guiding CCD camera can make you look better than you really are!

Not intending to be a smarty-pants. But how long is looooong? in an astro-
imagers life. In the write up it says you captured the image between 19-22
of Sept? 2 weeks ago?

Ahah, I see your point Rob – good one.
In terms of image submission, my personal experience has been that unless an image that you submit is published the same week, it tends to end up in someone's recycle bin! So, in that context, 2 weeks is indeed an eternity.
Hmmmm, I have a feeling Dennis told a lil white.... you know, and really
he took the image by mistake on the nights between 17-23 July when he
found himself chatting to a certain mount.
