Opticstar PL-131m and GPUSB

This is a mono ccd based on a 1/2" CMOS mono sensor - I think it is a Micron chip. It has a resolution of 1280*1024 and is quite fast - it can work in video mode at 22fps at max res or 80 fps at 640*480 or with long exposures. It is therefore quite suitable for planetary or guiding. The supplied software is a little simple but it can be used with AstroArt, Maxim, PHD and others. The unit is no longer made but specs for the colour version are still on line here:

Comes with cmount to 1.25 nosepiece, $50 (SOLD)

For guiding you will need a GPUSB or similar as the camera does not have an ST4 port. If you need one I can supply this also for a further $75. (moved to accessories)
