Weird Behaviour on IIS links

Am I missing something?
When I mouse-over links in threads etc I am getting a pop up inviting my to win IGA gift cards .
Anyone else with this happening?
Links in threads, links in Equipment signatures etc. Not the Thread headings links, or peoples Avatar Name links.
Either I have some virus that discriminates between certain links, of the site is compromised, or it's paid advertising.

I just went to edit this and the words 'gift card' had a url in them!!! WTF!

I bet you've downloaded something recently Trevor.

The utility or program you download is innocent enough but these horrible things can easily get attached and come with it. Before you know it you get pop ups on links link you're getting.

Scan using a malware scanner should sort it. Your virus scanner may not pick it up.

I just typed a private message and the first sentence contained a URL, but not in the posted message. Only in the composition box.

Sorted.
it was a firefox addon that needed to have an Advertising Support' feature deselected.

That's great that you were able to sort it out so quickly Trev.
A couple of years ago I got barely clad women appearing everywhere on facebook, which turned out to be a virus from a YouTube downloader .
