Hi all,

This time I stepped into unknown to me RGB territory. I must have broke many RGB rules being a narrowband addict...

About 3 hrs of data for this photograph have been acquired with iTelescope.Net.

There were wild gradients in the subs due to variations in centring of telescope over imaging sessions and there was a significant CCD tilt that I attempted to reduce with deconvolution - in a way it added fun into processing the data and putting in all together (in PI of course).

Great image Slawomir. One thing you could add would be to use HDRMultiscaleTransform in PI. It brings out the starlike inner core very nicely.

Pretty nice looking M31 Suavi What remote scope was used for the 3hrs? Looks good to me, maybe the core area is a bit red..?

Thank you Geoff. I did, but with a mask and very lightly. Maybe I need to be more daring with HDRMT tool

Thank you Rick. Unfortunately RGB has been a fleeting affair for me...that might change some time in the future though.

P.S. I hope I did not sound too negative about data quality, but the truth is it was far from perfect.

Thank you Mike. What red? Forgot I am colour blind...

The scope was FSQ106 with KAF11000 CCD by SBIG - data has been drizzled.

Lovely image. Wish I could image it from home, but that is totally impossible unless it suddenly transported itself to near zenith
