Untracked C/2013 US10 (Catalina)

Hi all,

Here's an untracked image of the comet above Alpha Centauri at about 8pm yesterday. Tripod-mounted Canon 6D and 70-200 f/4L, 22 x 4 sec @ f/4 and 12800 iso.

Yes, I like it too. Am waiting for the next clear night for an update to my visual observations.

Great shot, Stephen. Puts the little green guy in nice context! It reminds me of one of the Lemmon comets that was down South a couple of years ago: luminous and southerly.

Thanks Richard! Yes, that combination of luminous and southerly makes it fairly easy to get untracked images like this one.
