Helix Nebula, Repro

Quick update after yesterdays post.

NGC7293 Bicolour Helix Nebula

In all there is about 9 hours of data, split fairly evenly between Oiii and Ha captured between last year and this year.

In this version I added HA into the Oiii for Green and blue to get more detail and backed off on noise reduction. Then there may have been a bit of fiddling about with curves :-)

I cropped heavily. Whilst I have captured the outer areas I wanted to compose this with the focus on the core of the planetary neb. It stood up to the crop quite well.

Thanks for looking. Time to move on

A lovely image David. It is amazing the difference between the structure of the Ha data and the oxygen data. I didn't even think to look at that until i read your previous post. Great work.

Mark.
