Barnards in Monochrome

Decided to give this monochrome function a go this morning on the Barnards.

70-300mm @ 70mm f4 300 seconds ISO 1250 single image.

Turned out o.k. i think, can just make out the witches head would like some more of that fluffy white stuff though.

That's a very nice image; terrific for such a short, single exposure. It makes me feel right at home with my B&W ST7, although my FOV is pitifully small in comparison.

Cool catch on the Witch Head Trevor. Looks pretty clear to me. Nice overall shot actually. How long before we can expect to see you snapping off a dozen shots like that for stacking? Are you getting that mount sorted out?
