Lunch with a Magpie

Met this spunky fella today. It's fair to say that he wasn't hanging around just for the company.

Great photos of an interesting experience Billi. It looks like it's politely seated on the other side of the table taking handouts.

Thanks Trev it was quite an experience!

I received the Fotga macro extension in the mail yesterday. It's a very nifty accessory. Haha I've had a lot of fun with it so far

Glad to here you got the Macro ext. A new obsession is within your grasp. Cool. Have fun.
Get a little LED torch. One of the Cree type with zoom function which you can get on ebay under $10 (or Aliexpress is prob best) This way you can use small apertures for depth of field without really long exposure times by using the torch as a light source. Being able to zoom means you can concentrate a lot of light on a small subject.
The Cree LEDs have a colour temp of around 5800K so using Sunny setting in white balance works fine.

Have fun - Trev
