Globular and two planetaries
Here's two in the not too often imaged category: the globular cluster NGC 6712 and Planetary Nebula IC 1295. Seeing conditions weren't that great for the most part.
Cheers
Steve

He, he, nearly as good as my
3 planetaries and a globular
Great stuff Steve, these sort of lovely pairings and PN's in general are all over the sky and more need to be imaged

Thanks Mike. I had forgotten yours. Of course there are so many stellar planetaries around it wouldn't be hard to pick some up when imaging another object. Probably wouldn't be that spectacular though.

Great image Steve - nice pairing.
I haven't seen this one before - I'll give it a try one night.

Love it Steve!
Surprising amount of detail /structure evident in the planetary.
Great colour too.
Cheers,
Justin.

Thanks Justin. In the last half hour I've posted a reprocess which I think has better stars. I was thinking that the first version might have been a bit "over the top".

Great work Steve. Have not seen this pairing before. I was looking for two planetaries per the title but I only see one. You had me searching hard there for a while!

Thanks Jase. I hope I have this right but I think the other planetary is the teal blue dot about two IC1295 diameters to the upper right of IC1295.

Thanks Paul. I mostly go for the less imaged stuff.

...and so it is Steve! I missed it on the first pass but now you point it out, wow. very tiny angular size. Excellent imaging!

Thanks again Jase. The OIII colour is a good way of picking out tiny planetaries'
