Globular cluster m68

This is one I took as a filler at the May South Pacific Star Party, then promptly forgot about it until I stumbled across it this morning.

Telescope: 12.5" PlaneWave CDK
Mount: AP900
Camera: Proline 16803
FOV:36' x 36' (cropped)
Exposure: 7 x 200s R, 9 x 200s G, 7 x 200s B (Took 9 in each colour, but ditched 2 x R and 2 x B)
Processing: PixInsight

So much for the theory that you've seen one you've seen 'em all. That's the most beautiful globular I've ever seen. Magnificent.

Thanks Mike. With 150+ globular clusters in the Milky Way, I'm sure there are better ones out there.
The problem with globs is that they don't really present any challenge: take an hour or so of RGB, combine, fix colour, stretch, saturate, game over

Thanks Mike. I think I'm getting better at hiding decon and noise reduction from your eagle eye.
