AS NEW:- JAMO Sub-Woofer and a Casio Watch

Hi Guys,

I have a couple of "AS NEW" items that I don't use, so I may as well see if they can be put to good use by anyone here.

Item #1

The first item genuinely is a first class quality Boom Box or whatever you call these things that blast out the rumbling bass notes in a home theater setup. If you watch a movie with stampeding horses or whatever, with this turned on, you'd swear they were charging up the street and about to crash thru the front door lol

The speaker is a high quality JAMO SW303E - made in Denmark. It's about 10 years old, but it has literally only ever been switched on about 3 times, and is in pristine condition. Anyway, it just doesn't get used, so about 2 years ago I removed it and put it safely away in a cupboard.

The knobs on the back are to adjust 'level' and 'cut off frequency', and the connection to your AV Receiver is via a standard BNC connector.

This item cost over $500 when new, but I realize you can get Chinese plop much cheaper now. It weighs in at about 8kg before packaging, and the size is 240W x 360H x 430 front to back, again before packaging.

Ideally, this needs to be picked up from Perth as I can't see the lovely wooden case lasting all that well being kicked around by a courier. But if anyone wants to arrange collection, that's fine.

A very reasonable price for this quality item would be about $175 I think, - that sounds fair. Anyhow, pics 1, 2, 3 and 4 below are for this item.

Item #2

Moving swiftly along, we have a Casio G-Shock Watch also in pristine nick. It's a model GA-110-1 and comes with a whole load of features that are eminently useful and usable. Dual time zones, timers, stop watch etc etc

When I bought this, I wanted to be able to see the time without putting my glasses on and in the pics, this one looked the part. Unfortunately it didn't work out that way in practice. OR I'm getting more short sighted, which is entirely possible - lol.

Anyways guys, you can check that these things are about $150 to $250 in the shops, depending on where you buy.

Anyone want to part with $95 buckeroonies and it's yours. The watch is about 9 months old and it comes complete with a little tin can case, plus outer cardboard box and the original manual.

Pic 5 and 6 are for this item.

Anyone out there interested in either of these, please send a PM so that I get the email alert.

Thanks for looking
