Sequence Generator Pro and Canon 1100D

Anyone out there using Sequence Generator Pro with a Canon 1100D or other compatible Canon DSLR?

I had the chance to grab an 1100d in almost unused condition really cheap as my poor 3rd or 4th hand Modded 20d has died (not some much fully dead but getting zapped by it and really poor image quality that is declining fast is retirement age i think).

Now that I can use all this fancy software I'm having a go at Backyard EOS but I really want a bit more automation and I have known about Sequence Generator Pro for some time and I knew you could use Canon DSLRs with it but is anyone actually doing that? Is it as intuitive as BYEOS? I know i should just get the trial and have a go but I want to see others thoughts first.

Hi Josh,

I use SGPro and until just recently (when I switched from DSLR to mono CCD) I was using it to control DSLRs in my twin obs, with one setup using a Canon 1000D and another using a Canon 450D. SGPro works very well with these cameras. These images were all captured using SGPro and a Canon DSLR.

Thanks for that. I would really prefer the automation of SGP (especially for multiple targets in a night) than BYEOS.
