I would like to start playing Flames of War or any historic wargame but trying to find some associations for beginners and if there is some sort of gathering.

I'm much more of a boardgamer, and hex and counter wargamer than miniature gamer, but there used to be miniature club at Nunawading. I think they are still there.

Nunawading Wargamers Association, or something like that.

I joined the forum just before. Asked a similar question on there if there is a Melbourne base for play somewhere.

Looking at Mid-Late war and wanting to build up a German army.
