M16 Eagle widefield and zoom

Hi Guys again,

Here's M16 Eagle shot The original widefield shot was cropped down in size. The zoom version i adjusted accordingly. It had much red in the image. Canon 350D unmodded 8 x 4 minutes subs at ISO 800. darks/flats subtracted with UHC-S filter.

Great images Eric,
I think the Eagle is always one of those classic Messier's, no matter how many times I see it I never get tired of it.
Your widefields are becoming a highlight of my mornings at work.

lol cheers Ric. glad that you like it. I have taken many pics of the Eagle with the DSI's. They all look the same

good work. The UHCS filter really makes a difference doesnt it?

cheers scott. i thought it doesn't really with an unmodded 350d. but it sure does alot.
