M83 widefield luminance

Hi guys, I spent 3 hours last night imaging this great galaxy. The plan was to create a colour image, but with only half an hour in each colour it was extremely lackluster so I decided to just post the luminance instead. I highly recommend the large image, there are many galaxies in the background. I am especially fond of the tiny little galaxy on the right, with the little ring like structure around it.

I also did a little time lapse with my dslr that I will post later.

A wide field of view for this target but it works. Lots of faint fuzzies to add interest to the field.

Ricks image has inspired me to try with my colour data. Here is the result.

Looks good, Peter. Maybe you could squeeze a bit more colour out of the stars?

Cheers,
Rick.
