M104 - Sombrero Galaxy

Hi all,

Been quite a while since I've been able to get the scope out due to the tropical weather. Tonight we finally had good seeing conditions and almost inky black skies! It gave me a chance to test my new Peltier Cooler cold box for the K-3 which worked a treat. It kept the camera at 19c (usually 35-37c) while doing 180s at ISO1600 with 30 seconds break. Just over an hour all up worth of images taken in Mackay in my backyard.

Thanks Mike! Pretty happy with the data so far. I recon another few hours and I should be able to bring out the finer details.
