Jupiter, Sep 11, 2006

Trying to squease every little Jupiter imaging as possible that is left, getting really tough now! getting 10 mins of good seeing in that intermediate period after sunset.

Seeing was 6/10 but with some skyglow in the background. Could be my last image of the season.

My typical processing routine used: 175 RGB frames processed and stacked in Registax, then ME Deconvolution and some some unsharp masking in Astra Image, curves/contrast/brightness adjustments in PS.

Lovely image, i'm glad to see some of you guys still able to get something in the period after sunset.

That's a very sharp image John with stacks of detail. Nice to see Red Jr still and how far it is past GRS now.

Hi John

Wonderful image with heaps of details in there. An admirable and very successful effort this late in the Jupiter season.

Cheers

Thanks for the comments guys.

Always lots of activity on Jupiter.

It will be interesting to see what happens when the planet re-appears in the morning sky.
