Vela region - almost! I chose the wrong NGC number, being the small cluster NGC2547, meaning that I didn't capture the primary supernova remnant. But I'm posting this as it represents a further leap in my data collection with the Sony A7s - This comprises 15 shots of Ha (12nm filter) at 6 minutes each, plus the same set for RGB, all at ISO 3200. I'm very pleased with the final result, with quite a few reattempts to both highlight the Ha data and also not destroy the RGB. It was certainly a challenge. But yeah, I may have upped the sat a bit too much??
Better luck next time, I'll be trying to shoot the main SNR at our next outing to the Snake Valley star party
