EQ5 mount complete with drives!-SOLD AND POSTED!!!

Hi there,
Have taken delivery of my new gm-8 so to get the bank balance back a little I have my EQ5 mount up for sale. Comes complete with S/S tripod and dual axis drives as well as a 30cm dovetail plate. Mount is less than 2 years old and has been regreased an worms diamond lapped. RA is very smooth while Dec is better than it was! Pec error would be around +/- 20sec maybe a little better.
Saddle and the dovetail have some paint chips etc but mount overall in good condition. I have also made up a little AA battery holder to use rechargable batteries to save running costs. Replaced the RA buttons on the hand controller as well to soft touch ones from jaycar, will replace the Dec ones if the buyer wants them changed as well. I hate the original ones!!!

ah good price! If only it would carry my 10" newt!!

I could use it for widefield piggyback stuff with my 350D, but I guess an EQ2 would suffice for that

thats what i was thinking mike... if only it were a heq5 and not an eq5...
good price tho, should sell easy if ppl are afer one
