Wanted old bulky and cheap digital

Hi all
After a chunky digital compact , its for someone thats handicapped with large hands so bulkyer the better .
Something like a Canon A20 or A30 which he's had before but broke ( hence needs to be cheapish ) only needs to be 1 or 2 MP
I've had a look on Ebay but I don't think anyone would bother advertizing since everyone else wants very compact and loads of pixcels.

Be great if someone could help.
Thanks
Zane

sorry can't help here .. but I would recomend a fuji 205 /210s
I have had one of these little bricks for a few years now
I have dropped it twice and one night kicked it across the floor into
the wall .. It still works fine despite the beatings strangely.

reasonable pics for a little compact

I have seen these pretty cheap on e bay at times ,, best of luck

Zane,

Keep your eye's open for a Kodak DC3400 as well. 2MP and pretty big, 2x optical zoom, so not very trendy these days, but they take excellent photos. A mate had one, which was why I bought one (quite some time ago). I'd offer you mine except that I still use it (I drag it around work to photograph inside bits of machinery). I have three panoramas (1.2m in length each - with as few as 3 photos per image) printed up, framed and hanging one the walls that I took with this camera and it never ceases to amaze people (even very fussy photographers like my brother!) what that little camera could do!

For a cheap astro cam get a key chain camera from Dick Smith's or similar (they turn up everywhere) pull out the insides put them in a box with a ep tube. Saw one today $29-95. I have done this and got good results on Moon shots.

You could look for an AGFA e1280, 1680, 307 or 780 thes are all big and cunky cameras, I own a e1280 and keep resisting the erge to update it they are only 1.3 mp big screen, big button.

Thanks everyone for the help , good to have a few more cameras to look at , the only problem I've found with older models is the shutter lag but he will just have to live with it.

Thanks again
