tangled mess

Tarantula nebula. taken last night using gso rc8 with ccd67. camera qhy9 exp times 6x3min for each rbg filter + 6x5min oxygen lll. stacked and processed photoshop. thanks for looking https://500px.com/suma126

Nice shot Shane lots of detail there ,I have just brought one of these scopes myself and looking forward to using it .a larger photo would be nice .

Nice framing, with lots of interesting bits other than the Big Hairy Spider. Very good result for such a short exposure. Because it's a nice composition, feel encouraged to show a larger version if that works for you.

Thanks guys👍. I did save it as a 200kb but when uploaded in to iceinspace it come out as 44kb 😱

thanks. nice little scope Im running ccd67 rejuicer + moonlight focuser but resently cleaned mirror and now having collomation problems.im thinking of buying the 12inch model but not shore about open tube look of the 12inch rc.

Reasonably good for crazy short exposures, colour balance is the best part. The link was a bit confusing until I realised all that was your work, that was interesting (to put it mildly). You have some serious talent lurking there. You need to up exposure times hugely to even start using that talent on your astrophotos. When you do, ill be very keen to see the result.
