Will wind effect my viewing

Could anyone tell me does wind effect your viewing like will it make it harder to get good views of Jupiter eye because of dust blowing round or anything. I just got my new 9mm eye peiece it's clear here but very windy

Yes. Especially if you have a relatively long fl scope: f9 or so on up.
I had to sell a very nice Zambuto mirrored dob because no matter what I did the thing would twirl around like a demented windmill!
A sturdy mount can make a big difference, as can any sort of home-made wind break if you have steady winds from one direction.
I live in a valley on top of a hill so the wind NEVER blows in one direction!
My go-to scope on days like today is an 80mm spotting scope mounted on an NEQ6. Fortunately it takes virtually any 1.25' EP and has a nice small cross section.

Yes wind will affect the view. The main effect is simply the scope being buffeted. What we refer to as "seeing" is caused by pockets of air in the atmosphere of varying temperatures moving around causing the image to be unstable and in extreme cases look like it is boiling. Interestingly, I have found that bad seeing and wind do not always happen together. On some moderately windy nights the seeing has still been excellent and as long as the wind is not knocking the scope about too much, the views can be excellent.

So if it is clear, I will still pop the scope out even if windy.

It's a f5 10" dob if that helps. Shouldn't blow the scope round I've already got it out and the fan on just wanted to know if it would effect viewing because I got s new ep today. Nice one Clive. Took me a while to get it because I'm a bit of a youngen but got there in the end hahahaha

Apart from the buffeting of the scope and mount, wind does affect seeing as Malcolm suggested. The biggest influence on seeing is the jet stream because it can get very fast and turbulent, but that's not to say that wind at other levels of the atmosphere don't also have an effect.
