I have bought too much astro stuff over summer which I'm blaming on the cloudy nights and am feeling a bit guilty, possibly due to the disapproving looks from my wife every time the postman knocks at the door with mysterious boxes. I've recently switched to Canon.
So regretfully preparing to sell this camera I bought in 2011 mainly for baby photos but ended up recently buying the superlative Tokina 11-16mm wide angle lens for truly spectacular Milky Way shots. It has some coma at corners and I'll include some examples of photos and video taken with this setup.
Also includes the IR remote switch you'll need for any astro work. Includes battery, strap, charger but not memory card which you'll need to buy separately. All good working condition.
